During the course of the scheduled repair: PC Home Assist will proceed using the standard methods recommended by Microsoft and process of computer diagnostics in order to find and correct the fault in your computer(s) appliance/peripheral devices. It is assumed that the appliance/peripheral is in working order, and can be subjected to the rigors of trouble-shooting and diagnostic procedures.
If during the course of standard trouble-shooting, a physical/hardware fault develops in the device, PC Home Assist cannot be held responsible for the fault. If the machine cannot be returned to its previous state of operation, prior to PC Home Assist’s intervention, due to a fault developed during trouble-shooting, PC Home Assist cannot be held responsible for causing such a fault. Microsoft is not liable for any work carried out by PC Home Assist.
PC HOME ASSIST cannot:
Repair 2nd hand laptops with a hardware fault such as: faulty CD-ROM drive, low battery life, noisy system-fans, overheating issues, faulty harddrives or broken or non-functional LCD screens.
Repair BIOS faults on motherboards - for laptops, PCs or MAC.
Make hardware repairs on machines still within warranty from supplier.
Be liable for advice given which may result in damage or loss of material, time, goods or finances, if misapplied by customer.
Be responsible for Data loss: data such as electronic picture, document, music or video files.
